Guided tours & technique training
If you’re new to mountain biking in the Dolomites or would rather leave the route planning to someone else, you can join one of the guided mountain biking or e-bike tours organised by Val Gardena Active, Val Gardena’s summer activity programme. Most activities are free or discounted for our guests. Our partner MTB-School Bike 2000 also offers daily guided tours, riding technique sessions and much more. You’ll soon have the skills and confidence to tackle more challenging trails.
Bikepark Trail Arena Val Gardena
Beneath the towering peaks of the Sassolungo and Sella massifs, which rise behind our bike hotel in Selva di Val Gardena, lies a true paradise for mountain bikers and downhill riders. Trail Arena Val Gardena features six different trails covering a total of 13.9 km, including a spectacular 1,457-metre downhill run. There’s something for everyone, from family-friendly, purpose-built flow trails to technically demanding freeride descents.

Our partner Bike 2000 provides everything you need for a cycling holiday, with e-bikes and mountain bikes for adults and children, plus accessories such as helmets, clothing and repair tools. They also offer riding technique training, guided group tours and, on request, private tours tailored to your needs. There’s a well-stocked shop on site, along with a professional bike service centre.
