Fancy a drink?
Refreshing drinks and good conversation await at the bar
The new bar at our gourmet boutique hotel in Val Gardena is designed to resemble a cable car station. So don’t worry: if you see the little wheels turning, it’s not because your drink has gone to your head! Take a seat at the counter, make yourself comfortable at one of the tables or settle down on the sunny terrace. Whether you’re sharing the moment with someone special, getting lost in a good book or simply enjoying your own thoughts, time seems to fly by here.
The perfect drink for every time of day
A good hotel with bar accompanies you throughout the day. It might begin with a cappuccino or tea in the morning, followed by a hot chocolate, a homemade juice or an after-ski-drink, depending on the season. At aperitif time, we serve favourites such as Hugo, gin and tonic and South Tyrolean sparkling wine. After dinner, things become a little more sophisticated. As dusk settles outside, sit back and savour one of our South Tyrolean spirits or a smoky whisky. The evening ends only when you’re ready.
In South Tyrol, the aperitif is a tradition in its own right.
The South Tyrolean aperitif
The aperitif is one of the highlights of the day in South Tyrol, where Italian bar culture meets the region’s convivial spirit. In the early evening, around 5 or 6 pm, people gather at the bar to raise a glass to a successful day and ease into the evening. The atmosphere is cheerful, relaxed and informal. Popular drinks include Hugo, Aperol Spritz, gin and tonic and Negroni, alongside their alcohol-free alternatives. Sometimes, little bites and finger food such as olives, mini bruschette and cubes of cheese are served, too. In winter, an aperitif at our bar is also the perfect way to round off a day on the slopes.
