Unlimited free rides on 3 mountain lifts throughout the summer
Fil da Mont certainly lives up to its name! The Sassolungo Lift Pass, our very own Val Gardena guest card, is included in the room rate for all our guests. Available exclusively through us, it gives you unlimited free rides on the Piz Seteur 1, Forcella Sassolungo and Gran Paradiso lifts throughout your summer stay. The lifts operate from mid-June to mid-October, and the Piz Seteur gondola starts right beside the hotel. Gran Paradiso and Forcella Sassolungo will take you even higher into the mountains. The latter is an experience you really shouldn’t miss!
Piz Seteur 1 gondola
Opening times: 09:00 to 17:00
Head straight from the hotel into the mountains. The comfortable 10-person Piz Seteur 1 gondola starts right beside Boutique Hotel Fil da Mont in Plan de Gralba, opening up the Dolomites for you to explore. In summer, the lift operates as far as the mid-station, where you arrive almost directly beside the valley station of the Gran Paradiso chairlift, which is also free for our guests.

Gran Paradiso chairlift
Opening hours: 09:00 to 17:00
The high-speed, 8-seater Gran Paradiso chairlift carries you and, if you wish, your bike gently up into the Sassolungo area and right into the Città dei Sassi, where breathtaking mountain panoramas surround you. The protective covers on the Gran Paradiso chairs provide extra comfort when the wind picks up.
Forcella Sassolungo
Opening hours: 08:15 to 17:00
This one really is something special! The nostalgic two-person standing cable car, whose cabins some people say resemble coffins, takes you up into the rugged Sassolungo pass. It’s one of the oldest cable cars still operating in the Dolomites and has remained virtually unchanged since 1950. The ride on the Forcella Sassolungo lift takes around 15 minutes and is definitely one for those who aren’t afraid of heights.
